question about installing v2.5.3 on Solaris

Also, I can't recall if the documentation notes it, but you don't need to
*build* boost, which takes like a month (and I don't even think I managed
to build on Solaris).

All you need is the boost tarball unpacked and then point to it for the
headers in the configure commands. So it's not a major change to the
process, just an extra first step.
