How to test my Shib install - "This page can't be displayed" ???

I've installed the JDK, added the path to environment variable and then
installed Tomcat. I can successfully browse to: http://localhost:8080 and
Tomcat launches!

I then unzipped the shib .zip package and ran the install.bat. It says
"BUILD SUCCESSFUL".

I see the documentation says "You can test that the IdP is properly
installed and running by accessing the URL:
https://HOSTNAME/idp/profile/Status. If everything is working correctly you
should receive an "ok" page."

I've tried https://HOSTNAME/idp/profile/Status , I've tried
https://localhost/idp/profile/Status and I've tried
https://10.2.2.249/idp/profile/Status and they all say the same thing:
"This page can't be displayed."

Suggestions?
