While you could also use Nginx and the Shibboleth SP (via FastCGI,
like Scott said) that's a more involved setup and requires patching
Nginx, IIRC.
So it really has very little to do with all the things you describe in
the problem report: Putting the Shib SP (or another SAML implementation)
on the same system/box/machine as the protected resource is key here.
"use the same domain name" (from the reply) is just weird way to state that.
