IdP for Blackboard Connect

Yes we did work out SAML/Shibboleth integration with Bb Connect via “unsolicited” SSO.
(SP itself does not trigger the request; you gin up a URL for users to trigger the request.)

Here’s our URL for the “recipient portal” (there are two others):

Note the presence of a magic key in the URL.  As I recall, you generate that key in a Bb Connect admin portal,

To add insult, Bb insisted on their own names for attributes, so I had to craft custom attribute resolvers.
