LoginContext key cookie was not present in request

For one particular SP- intuit quickbase - I am getting this above error when I turn on the DEBUG mode in the log. Authentication is a success but no cookie is passed.
How can I make sure SP has the correct endpoint and it is using SAML 2 and not SAML 1. Also, how can I read what it is sent by the SP? Procotol message in logs tells me what is sent by idp to sp not what is received from SP.
