Hi Scott,
Thanks for your directions to perform this test.
I took all the measures as you suggested and able to get around 10
transactions per second with 60% of CPU. As you said, signing is taking
little more CPU. ( Tested with and without signing of saml response ).
however, the base CPU usage without signature/verification(no signature on
request/response) itself is high.
signed request/response - 9.4tps
unsigned request - 10.4tps
usigned request/response - 13.7tps
We are thinking the saml request xml parsers in shibboleth COTS might be
consuming more CPU. If we want use any other XML parser, what are the
configurations we need to consider.
