Hi Nate !
It works pretty well but there is one annoying thing that I see in the logs.

DEBUG Shibboleth.SSO.SAML2 [1]: extracting pushed attributes...
DEBUG Shibboleth.AttributeExtractor.XML [1]: unable to extract attributes,
unknown XML object type: saml2p:Response
DEBUG Shibboleth.AttributeDecoder.NameID [1]: decoding NameIDAttribute
(principal) from SAML 2 NameID with Format
(urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:nameid-format:loginName)
DEBUG Shibboleth.AttributeExtractor.XML [1]: unable to extract attributes,
unknown XML object type: saml2:AuthnStatement
DEBUG Shibboleth.AttributeFilter [1]: filtering 1 attribute(s) from
(https://idp.company.com/idp/shibboleth)
Shibboleth.AttributeFilter [1]: applying filtering rule(s) for attribute
(principal) from (https://idp.company.com/idp/shibboleth)
DEBUG Shibboleth.SSO.SAML2 [1]: resolving attributes...
DEBUG Shibboleth.AttributeResolver.Query [1]: attempting SAML 2.0 attribute
query
DEBUG XMLTooling.SOAPTransport.CURL [1]: getting connection handle to
https://idp.company.com:8443/idp/profile/SAML2/SOAP/AttributeQuery
DEBUG XMLTooling.SOAPTransport.CURL [1]: nothing free in pool, returning new
connection handle
DEBUG Shibboleth.SOAPClient [1]: prepping SOAP transport for use by
application (default)

However I was able to accomplish what I need but it still seems wrong.
I don't quite understand what is going on here.
What exactly are pushed attributes?
How come saml2p:Response is an attribute?

Thanks.
