It's generally considered pure rhetorics to prefix statements with
"it's generally considered". ;)
(Note that I do front my IDPs with httpd. Not to show I'm following
your "best practices" but because I find it useful for my purposes and
I too have more experience with it compared to e.g. Tomcat. None of
this sems to apply to the OP, though, hence my "if you have to ask".)
