Clustering IdP

I am looking into clustering IdP server and your documentation recommends the use of Terracotta to share in-memory state between the servers. It further states that Terracotta does not support Java 1.7. However, I contacted Terracotta and they confirmed the support for Java 1.7. I not sure when they started supporting Java 1.7 but wanted to confirm that there are no known IdP integration issues with Terracotta server running on Java 1.7.
