redirecting to specific pages after logout or error

Greetings!

Appreciate if 'can get any pointers to the below:

Have a single idp with multiple sp domains. Wanted to redirect them upon
user clicking logout on SP
end and coming to the idp (2.3.8). 

Specifically, my pref is to tweak jsp pages (and not any shib java code)
from outside
for this custom redirect to specific pages depending from where (which
domain/ entityID) they are coming from.

Is/Are there any http session/req variable(s) that 'can look into to figure
out this? 
http referer is the only way? or any variables that Shib sets?
