Better approach to do Authorization in shibboleth

Look at the contributed extensions, maybe one of those is usable for
you:

For example:
- RESTful webservice connector
- Web Service Data Connector

I don't have any experience using either of those, but the wiki lists
the maintainer for each piece of software right next to the project.
Please address your questions about that code to those maintainers,
not to this list.
