Based on the entityID, this isn't your IdP or Shibboleth, right? Assuming
that's true, there isn't a way, it would be a bug. If in fact I'm even
correct about what it's doing. Your description remains impossible based
solely on what you've described (closing a tab and opening a new one would
not establish a new session with the SP unless the old one had already
expired).
