Having trouble finding my error in my relying-party.xml

All,

As I continue to beat my head against the wall trying to get my first service setup, I have run into this issue when attempting to add Salesforce to my relying-party.xml.  I added only these 3 lines and I'm getting the following error:

Configuration added to relying-party.xml:

<rp:RelyingParty id="https://xxx.my.salesforce.com" provider="https://xxx.xxx.xxx/idp/shibboleth" defaultSigningCredentialRef="IdPCredential">   <-----This is line 25
      <rp:ProfileConfiguration xsi:type="saml:SAML2SSOProfile" encryptAssertions="never" encryptNameIds="never" />
</rp:RelyingParty>

Error message:

Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 25; columnNumber: 150; cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'rp:RelyingParty'. One of '{"urn:mace:shibboleth:2.0:relying-party":AnonymousRelyingParty}' is expected.
