Yes, I tried doing that earlier today but it turned out to be too
complicated. I need to come up with a simple explanation that makes
sense in this context.

Yes, but the long-tail of IdPs that this document is trying to address
doesn't really encompass research. In any case, you're right, that
page still needs work since others will ask the same questions.
