Trying to figure out this JAAS

Hello.

I wanted to configure a simple test with a simple user for a simple
back-end authentication.

I discovered this thing call JAAS in the
/opt/shibboleth-idp/conf/login.config

I never configured before, and I was wondering if I could configure a
simple user like this?

    ShibUserPassAuth {
       users.properties file
          "testuser at somecompany.com"=password
    };
