Thanks, Paul, for being willing to stick with our Oracle craziness. I know you want to make this code as universal as you can, and it certainly benefits us that you do!

Hoping for an easy fix for you. From my googling for that error yesterday before posting to the list, it looks like there's some decent built-in code to Hibernate, assuming I understood what I was reading.

Yep, pretty obvious what the problem is. I'll have to do some research on how to tell Hibernate to tell Oracle to create/use an identity/key column.
