The wiki link was for v1, not v2, since

 https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/plugins/viewsource/viewpagesrc.action?pageId=3866867

points to

 https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/SHIB/IdPProductionConfiguration

So, there is no errorText variable. This itself does not help
troubleshooting, though.
