Not specific to Blackboard, but make sure to only accept scoped
identifiers from the other institutions, to prevent any overlapping
usernames/NetIDs with your local users. In case you've accepted
e.g. uid from your IdP you'd need to add additional rules to
attribute-policy.xml to prevent this attribute being accepted from any
other IdP. If OTOH you've always been using ePPNs that point is moot.
