Update user details and Bypass login process

Hi,

I have installed shibboleth IDP and SP which works fine. I am using LDAP for
storing the user credentials.

I want to add and modify the user details, Is there any API calls provided
by shibboleth that to add and modify the user credentials which is available
in the LDAP?

Is there any possible way to login the user without asking the user to enter
the login credentials (My case is after the signup process I don't want the
user to login again)?
