constructing a service list (with URLs)

We’re trying to dynamically generate a web page that acts as a directory of services that our campus IdP supports. Has anyone built something similar?
We want to focus on campus services primarily, but eventually also provide a list of federation services we use as well. The MDUI extension provides most of what we want, but we want the entries to be clickable, so the the links have to point the user to the Entry URL (if that’s the right term) for each service, and it feels wrong semantically to use the InformationURL for this purpose.
For external services, we have no control, so I’m not at all certain what to do there. That’s a lower priority for now, thankfully.
To start, this will probably be some minimalistic parsing of our local metadata aggregate. When it’s fully built, this may be a thing that reads our attribute-filter.xml to get a list of entities, then extracts appropriate MDUI/whatever for each into a rss/xml/json feed.
