Capturing SAML Attributes from the IDP

Is there any way to capture the attributes or complete SAML response in IDP
before sending to Service Provider.

I could see the request being coming to IDP and the response from IDP to SP
in the idp-process.log but I want to use the response to store in the
Database and use it for future purpose. 
Any help would be appreciated.
