The DFN production federation only has two of those and from the same
domain as the OP. So possibly a slightly botched attempt to fix their
own values, based on this very thread.

Anyway, as Ian already said, this not at all uncommon (see my thread
with numbers from last year[1]) but that doesn't make it any better or
help when the software breaks due due to that,
