Almost all of your questions are about configuring the other software,
for which I'd expect there to be more appropriate (and knowlegable)
fora to ask. The following has been answered before here but I'll
restate since it still seems to be unclear:

In the first message of this thread you posted an error message from
the IdP caused by the SP requesting this NameID format and your IdP
not having it. So either change the other software to request
something else or configure your IDP accordingly to supply what was
requested. The former is where you quoted this from (I assume), the
latter is documented in the Shibboleth documentation.
