Is SP expiring user session prematurely?

Sorry, but my previous email got sent too soon before I could finish the logs. The logs show that the SP is continuously updating the expiry time for the said session until 11:54 GMT and we see the below

2013-03-20 07:54:20 INFO Shibboleth.SessionCache [23]: removed session (_83f7a6aea4ce297c6a776f9f9a7c8430)
2013-03-20 07:54:20 DEBUG Shibboleth.Listener [23]: dispatching message (default/Login::run::SAML2SI)

What we are trying to understand is as to why the session is not expired at 11:46 GMT?
