Implementing Salesforce SSO with Shibboleth

Hey,

We have a web site with java server-side, and we'd like to implement SSO with Salesforce. We are using spring framework.
Is there a good walkthrough or a full example that I can download that demonstrates what exactly we should do to get things working?
As I understand I need to implement delegated authentication, but I've been spending the last day swimming in salesforce and shibboleth docuemtnation, and I must admit I'm lost....
