It's a distaste for GUIs to manage complex software.

I don't know of any good admin GUIs, so I'll have to take your word for
it. All they do for me is hide details I need to know and prevent me from
accomplishing tasks with a complete understanding of the implications.

Yeah, I'd have to sanitize it a little so I don't know exactly when. But
based on your other note about your underlying goals here, I don't think
it would really help you, it's for somebody experienced with shell
scripting.
