Please post a sample of the URL the vendor is generating as a request, and
we can tell you if it's SAML 2.0 or not.

Or it may be sufficient to simply say that it should be a big long ugly
URL with a query string containing a SAMLRequest parameter that has a lot
of encoded data in it.
