Questions about embedded discovery service

If I just have 10 (well, 11, we need UCOP but not Hastings) links on a web page; the user is going to have to select the IdP every time -- the EDS sets the cookie with the last used provider which is sort of cool.  I have to log in to shibboleth all day long at different sites, and it gets to be sort of a drag selecting UCOP all the time.  That is why we decided we don't want to go the 10 links on a page route.

Is there any schedule for EDS 1.1?  Do you think there would be any problems running off of EDS svn trunk; which does have the option to default to pick from list according to JIRA?  If not, I think we are just going to run with it as is.  We can hardcode the DiscoFeed JSON once legacyOrgName stops working.
