I'm not sure, but maybe your setup is totally destroyed. My impression is that you have done a lot of trial and error so far - sorry if this is wrong! 

I strongly recommend to make a clean install of both components, ensure that they have correct IDs and reasonable metadata, exchange the metadata and celebrate a successful login before adding further attributes to release, configure other SPs and so on.
