Yes, that is what I mean. It is more a question about OHS than the
Shibboleth SP. To put it more crudely:

Has Oracle changed the Apache HTTP Server code in some way such that
an "in place" SP build from source is somehow "better" or "easier"?

I grant it is an odd question--I simply do not have any direct OHS
experience and have no idea what to expect from it compared to Apache
HTTP Server.
