nameID attribute not showing up in SP request

For the record, the issue was that the end user decided to change the "name" attribute of the nameID in SAML and forgot to tell us. <sigh/>

DEBUG level does it, I'd have to go digging to find specific categories if they aren't already spelled out in the logger file.

It does. And you don't need to specify one, the default decoder is that type.
