Amazon runs their own version of Linux.

-bash-4.1# cat /etc/*-release
LSB_VERSION=base-4.0-amd64:base-4.0-noarch:core-4.0-amd64:core-4.0-noarch:printing-4.0-amd64:printing-4.0-noarch
Amazon Linux AMI release 2013.03
-bash-4.1# uname -a
Linux ip-XX-X-X-XX 3.4.43-43.43.amzn1.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon May 6 18:04:41 UTC
2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I am currently using the CentOS 6 repository and I am getting this package
error now:

--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Package: shibboleth-2.5.1-1.2.x86_64 (security_shibboleth)
           Requires: libmemcached.so.2(libmemcached_2)(64bit)
Error: Package: shibboleth-2.5.1-1.2.x86_64 (security_shibboleth)
           Requires: libmemcached.so.2()(64bit)

yum list libmemcached
...
Installed Packages
libmemcached.x86_64                            1.0.8-2.6.amzn1
@amzn-main

I am not an well versed in rpm and packages, so I came to wonder if it is
possible that the amzn1 package is inferior to the same package from another
repo?
