Is IDP tied to specific spring version?

Scott, when you say you don't support it do you just mean it hasn't
been tested, or there are known to be existing problems? I'm in a bit
of the same boat where an upgrade to Spring 3+ would get me a ton with
regard to the MVC layer, annotations, AOP, etc. Right now basically
everything has to be programmed with servlets (I'm adding an external
authentication piece), which can be cumbersome. Also, are there plans
in version 3 of the identity provider to move toward a more recent
version of Spring?
