Instanciating an EntityDescriptor object

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks, Scott. The ServiceTagSupport class looks pretty handy, too.
So, since I'm trying to access the loaded metadata on the SPs that did not initiate the logout request, this looks like more than just a JSP trick. It looks like I need to make some underlying code modifications to expose that metadata to logout.jsp. Is that correct? Or am I missing something?
Thanks,
Keith

You don't need to create them, you have to get access to the metadata that's already loaded for those systems.
You might try adapating something from the getSPEntityDescriptor in the ServiceTagSupport class in the IdP that the taglibs use.

No.

Building anything requires going through the XMLObjectBuilder layer, and doesn't help you, that just builds an empty object.

That's not a constructor, it's retrieving one, not creating it.
