Can I use Shibboleth SP on tomcat?

Can any onse please suggest,if there is any Open Source or free solution for
SAML 2 Service Provider that can directly run on tomcat web server??

Hi,

there are SAML extension for Spring Security [1]. Even without using the
rest of the
Spring framework for your web application, it should be possible to
configure access 
rules to certain URLs and protect these by authenticating against a
Shibboleth IdP.
