shibboleth - stopped working after package update

I was not using https for this.
Just to let you know:

I downgraded from 2.5.2 to 2.5.1-1.2, restarted both shibd and httpd, 
and it started working without changing anything. I will have to 
investigate what changed from that version to the last one.
