Redis support for SP?

It appears to have that advantage with the disadvantage of much less direct support for the features required by the storage API. It doesn't seem to have the same limitations on key size that memcache does, though, which is the worst problem that tends to come up.

On the downside, the C/C++ library for it seems to be less official, which suggests it may lack features (and if one of the features it might lack is thread safety, you're screwed).
