Shibboleth and LDAP

If that product runs in a webserver you can sometimes change that and
use other methods of authentication (REMOTE_USER, custom HTTP request
headers or some fancier integration script that gets session data from
webserver -- provided by Shibboleth -- and feeds it to the app via
some API).
