Thanks, Tom.  I'll try this out.

Also, I found a discrepancy between the Tomcat 6 and the Jetty
preparation instructions.  For Tomcat 6, one is supposed to copy the
entire contents of the "endorsed" folder to $TOMCAT_HOME/endorsed.
However, for Jetty, one is supposed to copy only the xalan and
xercesImpl JARs to $JETTY_HOME/lib/endorsed.  Are those instructions
correct?  What becomes of the other JARs included in the Shibboleth IdP
binary distribution?
