Shibboleth IdP and Jetty 8

[xenophon\+shibboleth]

Does the current version of the identity provider work with Jetty 8?  I
tried to install and run the IdP under Jetty 8.1.8, but I got many
errors like the following:

o.e.j.w.WebAppContext{/idp,jar:file:/usr/local/shibboleth-idp/war/idp.wa

edu.internet2.middleware.shibboleth.common.log.SLF4JMDCCleanupFilter

I can't tell if this is an issue with the CLASSPATH or with something
else.  I found Fabio Spelta's posts to this list in June, which reported
similar errors but no resolution.
