Not reall a question for this list (but I guess Keith is to blame for
this spilling over to the Shibboleth lists) but creating your own
attribute is rather simple:
Get an OID assigned from somewhere (if your org has none you can ask
IANA for a Private Enterprise Number, http://pen.iana.org/), chose a
name (to your liking), syntax (e.g. directorystring) and matching rule
(e.g. caseIgnoreIA5Match for case-insensitive mostly-7-bit-ASCII).
So having someone elses won't buy you a lot.
