At UF we actually have one page set for login , error,warning etc..  however... 

They are adaptive to the device.    If you would like examples I can see if we can place in the WIKI.

Yes this is possible.. You will need to modify or build your own LoginHandler..

Here is an example of what someone did ..

I use a slightly lighter weight detection library but I modified the LoginHandler in much the same way..
