IdP won't start

I built a Perl script to connect using the freetds stuff, and it works fine. I think this might be the jtds jar that we have not working with the java we have.

Is it using freetds though? That's still probably implicated in some way
if it's not pure Java.

Can you connect with some kind of command line test of the driver?
