Transform attribute values at the SP

Hi,
Is it possible to apply transformation to attribute values in Shibboleth SP?

For example, my attribute value is abc:xyz:123. I want to remove the prefix abc: and just deliver xyz:123 to the application. Is it possible? SP version is 2.4 and above.
