How do we know we are using native WL SAML or not?

Your exercise with OIF was with Oracle 11g Release1 but since 11g Release
Release 2, there is no requirment to have OIF Admin consoles which you have
done, this is only if you consider OIF/OAM as SP.
So there are slight changes...

Since 11g release 2, OAM console is enough to do this integration,
In the new OAM federation screen you dont have many entries to enter against
the IdP,


Sorry for stating oracle stuff, but as  I write oracle staff looking into
this,

All I can see is, there is no place I saw in the Oracle UI to ignore
artifact but use simple POST bindings. As per they when they import
shibboleth meta data, it failed hence they have manually configured the end
points,


Why they asked whether Shibboleth can communicate with SAML 1.1, am not
sure,

However in this integration they are following below instructions
