Supported SAML versions

HI

We got Shibboleth IdP 2.3.8,

I know it supports SAML 2.0 for sure,

But does it support SAML 1.1 as well, looking at the end points I can see
below as an example,

Does it mean it supports SAML 1.0 

<ArtifactResolutionService index="1"
Location="https://ourIdp.com:8443/idp/profile/SAML1/SOAP/ArtifactResolution"
Binding="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.0:bindings:SOAP-binding"/> 

<ArtifactResolutionService index="2"
Location="https://ourIdp.com:8443/idp/profile/SAML2/SOAP/ArtifactResolution"
Binding="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:bindings:SOAP"/>



Also at top I can see below as well

xmlns:ds="http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#"
xmlns="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:metadata"> -<IDPSSODescriptor
protocolSupportEnumeration="urn:mace:shibboleth:1.0
urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:protocol urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:protocol">


So curious to know client(SP)with SAML 1.1 can be faciliated?
