The problem of course is that mailing list managers do care about the From
header, so just ignoring those issues will break for some sites. You're
probably not going to convince anybody federating a mailing list manager
to try and deal with that though.

But the precise answer is, if you want to know, you'd have to ask the
owner of the service. If you can't tell, then they're missing some
documentation.
