Also, if you included the prefix with all the elements it would
require the prefix to be defined in the configuration file (default in
newer releases, possibly missing in older ones).
And if you can't rely on the prefix to be recognized you'd have to
clutter all those examples with verbose xmlns declarations.

Which is not to say that I'm against making any examples
copy+pasteable. Just that this comes at the expense of making them
more verbose and slightly unreadable (which does a disservice for all
those looking and learning from those examples, instead of just
copy+pasting them.)

If there'd be a clear path forward that would be good, though.
