Hello,
it took me about a week to resolve the following problem, which was
quite enoying because there wasn't much debug information available.
Thus, I would appreciate if the support / developers would include a
short hint
(https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/SHIB2/NativeSPWindowsIIS7Installer
is the right place, thougth).
It could also be advantageous to adapt the Windows installer ...
Setup:
* Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.5 under Windows 2008 Server R2:
* 32-bit support enabled (IIS Manager => Application Pools => "Select
Pool"=> Advanced Settings => Enable 32-Bit Applications: True)
Symptoms:
If configuring the 32bit ISAPI module OR the 64bit ISAPI module, it
won't work. Having the 64bit-ISAPI installed the access to the 32bit
Application isn't protected at all. Having the 32bit-ISAPI module
installed I get a 500.0-Error message (maybe I mix up the symptoms of
the 32bit/64bit-ISAPI module). Having disabled the 32-bit support the
64bit ISAPI module works but the 32-bit application doesn't run...
I finally found that it only works, if I install both the 32 and the
64bit ISAPI module in parallel with a *.sso-mapping for both...
Regards,
Stefan
