I assume user access to http://mydomain/secure/resource.jsp. This resource
is located on Tomcat behind the Apache httpd. Workflow below shows a simple
continuously steps. My questions are on the end of this email. (figures
above digged out from http://www.switch.ch/aai/demo/2/expert.html, which is
only for describing my question in this topic without any commercial and
business purposes)

Step 1: User accesses to http://mydomain/secure/resource.jsp firstly.
Because all resources under /secure are protected by the SP and this user
is not authenticated. Login.jsp located on IDP will show to the user.

Step 2: The user supply email and password. IpD do necessarily business
logic. After successfully authenticated, request
http://mydomain/secure/resource.jsp will be dispatched to Tomcat. My
question are:

1. How does resource.jsp retrieve the parameter email supplied by
user on the login.jsp?

Could you please give me some guidance or learning material?

Thanks.

Dominic
